Hey Everyone,

So the recruiting is officially over and I’m happy to have 3 new nakama to fight this war… and by war I mean editing. So without further ado I present to you all the newest members;

Now since I’m making a post I also wanna take some time to talk. I actually really just wanted to thank people. I wanna thank the donors, as always they are the ones that help keep the projects going and are good people so Thank you. I also wanna thank the people who take the time to post a simple Thank you or thank the people involved in a release, there aren’t many but one specific person deserves a big Thank you and that’s Ehud, so thanks dude. I also wanna send my thanks to Ryuutama for the help on the site and also just helping me every time I need help with the technical stuff on my site, so yeah thanks to him as well. Also I gotta thank all the translators that have helped me thus far and have been doing the translator gig for a while now, to all of them thank you! And I gotta thank my own crew for helping me out thus far as well, so thank you to all of them! Its always good to be thankful especially around the holiday season so yeah be thankful people and I really wish everyone has a good December and enjoys themselves.

Around this month last year I was in need of some funds to help me get an External HD and there were many kind donors who helped me reach my goal and because of them I got one and it has helped tremendously. So you know I don’t forget kindness like that and this Christmas I wanna give something back to the people, of course there will be releases but I’m gonna something a little more. So I’ve got lots of Gold Keys which I will give away on December 28, 2010 at 2 am (EST). So visit the site before that time and when the time comes to 2 am the post will be up and there will be gold keys up for grabs. Check your time zone see when that is since I imagine a lot of people don’t live in the EST time zone. Alright well a few things changed so the announcements may be shorter then I expected. Ok let’s start.

Recruiting!

Alright well this is my main announcement. My current editors are busy these days and have some important things that they need to take care of in their lives so editing has been slow. Don’t worry though, they are still with me. So I am looking for 2-3 editors that are willing to join and help out. I do have specific requirements though since I only need 2-3 more editors. So here are my requirements to apply

- You need to have experience in using photoshop and editing in general meaning cleaning and typesetting (I don’t have the time to teach people how to edit unfortunately).
– You need to be able to stay with the crew for the long run meaning I don’t want to recruit people who come in for 2 months and then leave without a word or give me some terrible excuses for leaving, if you apply your applying to stay for the long run.
– You need to be able to edit at least 1 chapter every 7-10 days (This is expected and there are exceptions, I’ll discuss this through email).

So yeah those are the requirements to apply. If you feel you have time once a week to edit and your experienced and you would like to do this then send me an email at faytear@hotmail.com you will be put through a test and after the testing phase. The testing phase will be a test edit to see your skills and I will personally be giving you pointers and checking to see if you can make adjustments since I want the editing to be good quality or higher. I do have standards and I don’t want to recruit editors who can’t edit well. If you pass the testing you will be recruited. Also, I can’t guarantee that you’ll be recruited since I’m limiting the amount of people so don’t take it personally.

Regarding Future Projects

So regarding future projects, I can tell you guys for sure that there will not be any new projects this year. New projects will most likely come around the new year and that will include Love and Hate Vol 2. I did say I would pick it up as a donor project so it will be coming in the new year. Depending on how things go with myself and my editors there could be more donor projects so look forward to the new year.

Contest

So I did mention that I have a cool idea for a contest, well at least I think its unique lol. Alright so this is a contest: The person who can show me the ugliest girl in a h-manga/doujin will win. Well pretty much the way this contest will work is you will need to send me a pic of the girl from a h-manga that you think is ugly (it could be face, body, etc). I will then pick the top 5 and we will have a vote for the ugliest chick in the h-manga world lol. The prize for the winner is some deposit files gold keys, plus it’ll fun to see what people can come up with. Also if I can get at least 10 different girls from different people then I’ll pick a day and just unload a lot of gold keys for everyone. So to summarize:

- Send me a picture of the ugly girl and let me know who the artist/tank that you got it from (If 2 people send me the same pic then the one who sent it first will be the one to represent that pic).
- I’ll then choose the top 5 and will have the people vote and the one with the most votes win.
- Also after that I’ll post some of the ones that didn’t make the cut.
- Ugliness can be either the face, body, etc… the chick must be detestable and we’ll crown that chick the ugliest lol.

If you guys need me to clarify anything please just ask and I’ll get back to you on it asap.

Other

So yeah, I’ve already said that I’m busy with studying so that’s still the case with myself and translating has been slow as well, normally around this time and December its pure exams for all the uni/college students so I really thank you people for being patient and just sticking around as well. Its tough running this site, editing, managing life, studying and more, not making any money makes it even worse lol but I’m sure things will get better. Anyway another thing is to reach over 1.2 million views already is a great accomplishment for me. I hope to reach 2 million faster than normal. Actually though if I add my views from my old blog I believe the total will be about 2.5 million views so technically that’s how much I should be at, but its a new blog so I don’t bother adding the old stats. Alright well that is all I’m gonna talk about, don’t wanna bore you all too much lol.

Next Project and Sanbun

So with Tames coming to an end  I need to choose another tank to work on. So the next project will be Heart Maker. I will be working on that project and you guys can expect some Kanjyuku and other stuff. Now I also wanna let all the Sanbun fans that you can expect more Sanbun releases along side with other stuff while Heart Maker is being completed. I haven’t worked on Sanbun’s stuff recently because I’ve kinda taken a break on it and trust me it was a good thing because you all were getting to used to his stuff. But since it’s been so long you guys are gonna really feel the ntr or at least feel it more then the other ntr h-manga out right now. So yeah expect that and more.

Editing and My Editors

I just wanted to mention some things on the editing side. I don’t know if any of you have noticed but I’ve change my editing style a little, I like to think of my editing style as a higher version so like a 3.00 now. In the beginning I was at 1.00 then somewhere near the middle I was at 2.00 and now (well more like a 2 or more months ago) I’ve upgraded my own editing style. The way I did that was I’ve had a closer look at most of my older edits and I looked for changes to make it look better and so now I’m using different fonts for moans and I’m making sure that the text isn’t massive in small bubbles or too close to the edges of bubbles anymore. I think it looks a lot better these days. Now I wanna just make sure people know that I’m not the one editing all the projects, my editors handle certain projects so don’t go thinking I’m editing everything. I also just wanna say that my editors and I have lives as well so there may be times where we get busy on that side and some stuff won’t get edited until we have free time to do it. So don’t go complaining and trying to rush things, it doesn’t help. I can understand if you ask about how certain projects are going (if your a donor you’ll get a answer for sure) but understand the editing is being done for free as always.

Costume

So here’s an update on the costume I was looking for a while back. Firstly I couldn’t find a Kizaru costume and I looked into getting it commissioned but due to the timing it wasn’t gonna work out. So I’m going as a different character. I managed to find a Admiral Akainu costume and I’ve already purchased it so all that’s left is to wait for it. I haven’t decided if I’ll be posting pictures yet, though I’m leaning towards doing that. I gotta admit though, I’m real excited and can’t wait to get it.

Torrents

I’ve already stated that I’m not a fan of torrents and I still am not however, if someone wants to start a torrent on all of my finished projects up to date and seed them then that would be cool. It would provide everyone with a torrent of all the completed projects. I don’t know how to upload torrents and I don’t wanna learn, but if someone wants to start it up for me then just let me know and I can post the torrent link somewhere here on the site.

How is everyone doing these days? Well for today’s post I just wanted to talk about a few things and ask for some help… again lol.

Cosplay!

Alright well, I’ve decided this year and probably next as well I wanna do some cosplay… well not really lol I say cosplay but what I really meant was I wanna get a good anime costume for Holloween. I do plan to maybe wear it at a convention if it looks good next year. Anyway I need some help, I’ve searched online and I can’t seem to find an online store that I can buy cosplay costumes. Here’s what I’m looking for specifically;

I need to find an online store that takes paypal since I don’t have a credit card.

I need to find an online store that sells costumes and accessories as well (its best to have the whole package rather then just a costume).

I’m looking for a store that doesn’t break my wallet lol, I don’t wanna go spending $200 for a bloody costume, somewhere along the lines of $140 and below.

I actually wanna go as one of the admirals from one piece, but its hard to find their costumes. I prefer Kizaru but I don’t going as one of the other 2 if I can’t find a Kizaru outfit.

If I can’t find any one piece admiral costumes then my next bet would be to go as a cool bad guy… I’m not gonna go as a naruto or bleach character in case you need specifics. I don’t mind Code Geass. I actually would prefer to go as a character that’s real cool and slick but very rare to find or see in the cosplay world or Holloween lol. I wanna be unique (that’s why I wanted to go as an Admiral). I would also prefer anime characters BUT video game characters are something I would consider as well. If you guys need more information on the type of characters I would go as, just ask.

Fakku!

I know I haven’t posted in Fakku in a long while, and the reason for that is I’m a busy man lol, for real though I really am. I have this site to run, emails to reply to on a daily basis most of the time, I’ve got my own crew to take care of and there’s a lot of admin work that goes around that you guys don’t really realize you know? Anyway I’ll probably make a post in Fakku soon and I’ll be putting up a manga or 2 over there. What I’m gonna talk about there, I’ll be saying here right now.

As some of you know (the people who visit Fakku) Jacob went to one of the anime conventions in Canada which I thought was cool personally and well I’ve never really been to an anime convention however I really do wanna go. So what I’ve decided is that if Jacob decides to attend an Anime Convention in Toronto (Anime North I guess) then I will be there and I’ll even lend a helping hand at his booth he usually has if he needs help or doesn’t mind. I’ll probably speak to Jacob about it later on in the future and maybe try to encourage him to reach it. But yeah, let it be official that I will attend it (assuming he and the Fakku crew does as well). I do encourage you all to go too if you can (of course the people close to Toronto).
